One Week Break

I am now on a one-week hiatus from work! Primarily due to clearance issues at DSO but it's a blessing in disguise I suppose - FREE TIME!

The primary problem with having free time, however, is you don't know what to do with it. I wanna go out and do stuff but all my friends are working/schooling; wanna study but can't bring myself to read past 5 pages of physics in a day; wanna watch movies but there aren't any good ones on DVD to watch atm. Okay, so I'm picky. But yeah, I don't know how people can go for months not working and not travelling...

I kinda regret not knowing where I kept all my old Jap txtbks and stuff, I have a feeling they got thrown away along with all the Lit and History. My basic vocab has devolved into "Hello", "Good Morning" and "Thank You" all over again. And Japanese courses outside are either so time-consuming (i.e. they extend beyond July meaning I'll have left by then) or so expensive.

I realise I'll probably miss a lot of people once I go overseas to study. Always taken for granted that we'll be in the same school, or at the very least on the same island with at most a 45-minute drive from each other. Wonder how it'll be like.

I have very disjunct thoughts at the moment but hopefully everything will consolidate itself in good time. Right now still working on IYA2009 and planning courses and tours. Hmmmm...
